I’ve been having a difficult time figuring out the right words to use to describe media attention. I don’t want to sound like I’m criticizing or blaming anyone, but it seems like I’m using the wrong words. So I’m going to make a list and hopefully I’ll understand it when I try to use it.

Most importantly, you are the most important person in any of these relationships, so you have to show some type of balance in how you deal with it.

I think a lot of people assume the only way to balance it is to work from a position of weakness. But no. You can’t be so weak that you are incapable of having a healthy relationship, or not having a healthy one at all. You have to be able to balance all aspects of your life, even if it is just a few hours a day. It is only as strong as you are willing to let it be.
When we talk about balance, we are talking about the ability to give and receive respect from others. We are not talking about a person being a person who is able to have a healthy relationship, or even a healthy relationship with himself.
Sometimes you can be so happy that you don’t realize what a huge role a healthy relationship plays in your life. When you make the decision to have a healthy relationship with yourself, you take on an amazing responsibility. It is not just something you do to get things done. It is something you do to have the life you want. It is something you do to be truly happy.
If you are someone who has had some form of an unhealthy relationship with yourself, you have probably decided now is the time to change it and have the relationship you want. You did not expect your unhealthy relationship with yourself to be as healthy as it is and it isn’t. It is not healthy to be in a relationship with yourself where you aren’t taking care of yourself. Even if you try to keep the relationship you had with yourself, you may find yourself in a new unhealthy relationship with yourself.
The fact that you were in an unhealthy relationship with yourself is itself unhealthy. The unhealthy relationship you had with yourself was the point of having the unhealthy relationship with yourself because you were in it. Now, you want to change the unhealthy relationship you had with yourself and have a healthy relationship with yourself. You want both a healthy and unhealthy relationship with yourself and while you can change your relationship with yourself you need to take care of yourself.
