In this episode I talk about my experience building a new network for a small startup financial services company. This is a new episode of Money & Tech and I talk about the challenges of running a small business with a limited amount of resources and how to overcome some of them.
The first episode was a bit of a slog, but I think it’s over. You should probably start doing it again.
As I said, I am an experienced engineer. I have been working on a lot of projects and have made some really awesome progress. I am not a lawyer, but I am really excited to try to run a small business without many challenges. One of my first tasks was to sell my home to build a new internet for a company that had to pay $20,000 to a contractor to build a network.
I’m sure I didn’t make it clear that I am not a lawyer. The internet company has several million in cash and a great deal of risk. They are also a small startup, so getting all of the legal work done may be difficult. A few things that I do understand, but it’s still a bit of a pain.
I was pretty excited about the idea of building a new company called Redferns. It’s the largest financial company in the world, and I think its got some really nice features. I can’t really get enough of the fact that they are just like a small company that just wants to have a nice run at building a new home. But if anyone is interested, I think it’d be great for them. Or maybe you can help them out.
So as a financial service company, you know that people like to be paid well, and that is really important to you. And you know that money is just money. And you know that you don’t have to worry about finding the right people for your company, and you know that you are really good at finding those people. Its pretty much just a matter of connecting with people who want to help you, and then making it happen.
It doesn’t matter if you have a friend or a relative, or if you’re working in a company or a startup, you can be a good deal when you need it.
Well, it doesn’t matter if youre an older person or a younger person. Thats the thing about networking. If youre getting paid well, and you dont have to worry about the right people finding you, and you can be good at finding those people, then there is no reason for you to be working in the same place. It doesnt matter if youre struggling to hire a staff.
The truth is that there arent any real good answers to this. Whether youre working in an established company or starting one as a freelancer, you need to work with someone who is going to value you, respect you (which is really what networking is all about), and make you feel good about yourself. You also need to build up a reputation for being honest and trustworthy. But that doesnt mean you have to put yourself in a box.
Building a good reputation isnt about being an asshole, it is about being a self-aware, responsible human being who is also genuine. People are generally just looking for people who are honest and trustworthy, and to be honest and trustworthy, you have to be honest and trustworthy with yourself. Self-awareness is just another form of self-awareness, and it is by no means a bad thing.
