I know that I am probably the most anxious person to go to bed and it is something I am very good at. I have had anxiety issues for years and have been working on my self-awareness. The anxiety and fear of sleep are the most debilitating ones. When I am tired I can be more hyperfocused on my anxiety so I can’t relax and be in the moment.
I know my anxiety is very much a part of me, but I’m not exactly sure why. I think I might be able to explain it better if it was a story.
The answer is probably a combination of two things. One, I am constantly under the influence of anxiety, so it is always there. Two, Anxiety is the “default” state of the person. This might cause a person to act out in a way that they would normally not have acted out. For example, I am constantly anxious about my weight and how I look in general. I would not have acted out in this manner if I didn’t have anxiety about my weight.
Anxiety is a natural byproduct of the body’s chemical reactions and it is a natural reaction to fear. I am not suggesting that an anxious person is necessarily a bad person, but rather that they are someone who has a disorder.
I am the person. It doesn’t mean I have a disorder or a mental illness. I am not saying that I haven’t had a bad experience with anxiety. I can use the word “disorder” to describe anxiety.
I hate to tell you this, but that may be a little harsh. You dont have to be ill to suffer from anxiety. Just like you dont have to be fat to suffer from the illness of anorexia.

When you suffer from an anxiety disorder, you cannot control your anxiety. You are stuck with it. You can choose to think about it and think negatively about it.
