The Pros and Cons of twitter jokes
I love to hear funny tweets on the go. I often have the best one when I’m on the go.
Well, I’ve had some great ones this week. One of the first was by the lovely @_thepeterhughes, who has since tweeted some more clever tweets as well.

I’m always on the go. Its usually when I’m in the middle of a really major project and want to get everything done before I head to the office or the gym. Not really that I make my best tweets when Im on the go, but the amount of time I spend in a single day depends on how much I can fit in there.
I’ve been on the go for a while. I used to work in IT and was on my way to the office every day, so I often spent those days at my desk. But I was also working on my own projects, so those days were often spent with a glass of wine, listening to music, and reading for hours.
I used to work in IT. I worked at a large firm where we had to constantly be on our toes because we were constantly adjusting to changes in the industry. We had to figure out how to make our products better and faster, and we had to keep up with changing technology.
It’s still true today, but that’s not to say that IT is no longer an active arena for innovation. It’s just that the pace of change is so far off from anything we’ve seen before that it’s hard to tell the difference between the innovations people are doing and the ones we are just seeing being implemented.
In the early days of the internet, there was no such thing as a good idea. There was just a lot of junk, and companies like Yahoo thought they had a shot at making it. They would announce a new product and then a day later, it vanished. They still have quite a bit of money invested in the idea of being able to quickly announce something, then not be able to deliver. The internet has a way of doing that to people.
Twitter is the perfect example. It is a service that works like an online shopping site for the masses, only with the internet. It’s very easy for anyone to sign up, and then get all kinds of cool stuff by following the people in your Twitter feed. But this is only for the most popular users, and I’m sure there are a lot of other ways that Twitter can be manipulated or used to get your information.
