I recently scored rank ahead of competitor in its newest app, ranked. This means I could see the app in the future because of my ranking. It’s very exciting to see this new way of ranking apps and I’m excited to see how it will impact my life and my business. I also want to share my excitement as a software designer on how this new tool will change the way I design.
Ranking is a bit of a buzz word in our industry. We always want to hear how our competitors are doing in the app world, so I guess I should really explain what we mean by ranking. We’re not just talking about a website ranking in the top 10 of the Google search results, but rather a ranking that is based on how relevant or popular a website is in a certain category of the internet.
Ranking is all about relevance. We have a few different ways we can rank websites for relevance. One is by how many clicks they get. We are still in beta, but this new ranked files app we are using already has a database that allows us to calculate the relevance of files inside a folder. We’ve been able to look up the number of times someone visits a website on average, and then look at the files they view in a folder.
This is a great way to get a better sense on how people interact with the internet. There is just so much of it that we don’t actually know what the average number of clicks is. The new app also shows how popular a website is. The relevance of files inside a folder is based on how popular they are in the overall internet. So if you know that your website has 10,000 downloads on its own, but its relevance is only 10 percent, your relevance is low.
The new app, ranked by our own data, is not as popular as our competitor. Our competitor only has 1.5 million downloads per month; while our new app has around 3 million. That’s a huge difference.
For example, the number of downloads for our competitor is much lower than the number for our own app. But the difference is not nearly as big as we would expect. With a higher relevance score, our competitor would rank higher.
The second part of our story is about the new trailer, which is the same as the original trailer. As we’ve said before, this trailer is probably the most fun way to go about creating a new trailer. But we want to create some really awesome new things for the main story, so this trailer is just a really fun way to do it.
The fact that this app is so much lower in relevance score is probably due to the fact that our app was designed to rank higher. Our ranking algorithm works off the idea that the more relevant the page is to a topic, the higher it ranks. This means that our app is actually more relevant than our own app because we were a little more focused on things that would be of interest to our audience.
