15 Things Your Boss Wishes You Knew About how many paragraphs is 1200 words
I am often asked how many paragraphs a book is, and I always give the answer of “less than 1200 words.” And that’s what I mean by “less than” when I say “less than 1200.” When I started writing a book, I had a goal of writing 1200-1300 words.
I know the question is probably asked more often than I realize, but I am a little surprised that so many people don’t consider it to be a good idea to write a long book. The reason is that a book is a great way to learn. It forces you to think, gives you a chance to learn from the mistakes of others, and allows you to share your knowledge with others.
You can read a book in one sitting if you are very lucky, or you can read it in chunks of 1200 or 1300 words. I dont know about you, but I can go on for days if I want to.
The average length of a book on the market is 1200 or 1300 words. That’s a long book. Why do I keep saying that? Because I’m the guy who has been writing one of those 300+ word books for the past year. And I’m not even sure that’s possible, but I’ll tell you what, in my opinion it is.

If you don’t like how long a paragraph is, you should probably just read it in one sitting.

To start, you should probably make it at least 1000 words. The point of a paragraph is to give you enough space to describe what your character is doing and why they’re doing it. While a paragraph can be just the first sentence of a longer story, having a paragraph that’s 1000 words or more is a good idea.
You could have a paragraph that is 1000 words or more, but it should be nothing more than a description of the character and a little bit of backstory. That may sound a little bit vague, but it is very important to give your audience a sense of what your character is up to before you begin the actual story.
