The Urban Dictionary of founder hopes transparency social media
I think transparency is the most important social media thing we can have. I don’t expect that my blog will be a place where people can come to see and hear what I think, and I don’t expect people to write me to tell me what they think or what they think I should do in response to their comments.
And I don’t think we need to have more of that either. If people want to tell me what they think, I can always ask them to email me. But if they don’t want to, they don’t have to. If they want to talk about something controversial that is happening in their lives or something I do, I can always go to my blog and talk to them. The problem I see with this is that we are creating a situation where people are afraid to speak their truth.
If I want to talk about something that has happened in my life, I can go to my blog. But if I don’t want to, I can go to Facebook.
Facebook is great, but if you dont want to go to Facebook, then you cant talk about anything there. And if you don’t want to go to Facebook, then you have a real problem, because you don’t get to see the people you talk to.
The problem is that in my experience, people don’t want to talk about their problems in the first place. At least, I don’t. That being said, I definitely see this situation as a good thing. It makes it easier to talk about something if people know they can go to the people they’re talking about. Maybe that’s just me.
A lot of people are just as lazy as we are, but it is a lot easier to talk about important things than just about things that are just fun. It makes it easier for me to get up and start doing what I need to do.
I’m not sure I agree. If your job depends on your talking about important things, then you could get fired for having a couple of bad days. I’m a busy guy. It’s not like I have to go to work every day, and I’m not that much of a procrastinator anyway. I’m not the point of this post though.
I can see how the lack of transparency might make it easier for people who have not used it to talk about important things. But I am not sure exactly what this post is for. I don’t feel like I am making it too easy for people who just want to talk about all the things they need to talk about. I would be a little more inclined to take care of my own personal goals, instead of trying to make up for the lack of transparency. Im not sure I agree.
The goal of this post is to make the founders aware that they have a responsibility to keep the community informed. After all, we are not a startup, we are a company with employees. We can’t be responsible for our employees’ actions. We have to make it clear that we are not the only ones who use this platform for our private business affairs.
