The Most Common Mistakes People Make With ad copy definition
Ad copy is one of those words that has so many meanings and it is so complex. The first definition I used to describe this is the “word or name of an advertisement, product, or service, as intended for use to promote, sell, or advertise a product, service, or business to consumers” (Merriam Webster).
The second definition I used is that which is included in the ad copy. This describes what makes an ad an ad copy. It does not describe the content of the ad.
It is the ad copy that is used to promote the advertiser, product, or service. For example, the ad for a new car is an ad copy. The ad for a new computer is an ad copy. The ad for a new car and computer together is an ad copy. The ad for a new car, computer, and a brand new car is an ad copy.
The main idea behind this is that the ad copy should be the one with the most links in it. The ad copy should also be the one that is most relevant to the subject of your ad, and thus the most important to the ad.
